OSAMA BIN LADEN IS DEAD.............

Incredible folks! He's dead!! Osama Bin Laden! Honestly, i have mixed feelings about this development. MWhen my friend sent the text very early this morning, i was utterly numb, no feeling whatsoever. No lie.

For me it was like nothing happened. Still, we cant deny that this is a significant development. The question on ground right now is - Osama may be dead, but the war is still going on isnt it? It took the USA only 10 years to get this guy. Mixed feelings have trailed this news since it broke. Most people are not even sure if they should believe it, asking for confirmation pictures and videos, while others are wondering why so much attention is being paid the development when America has bigger, more pressing issues to attend to. Anyways, i think this is good news sha. For everyone in the world. I'm using this medium to wish Lucifer's right hand man, a nice eternity in hell.

HAPPY WORKER'S DAY!!!!

Worker's day is a day mapped out for workers all over the world. As Nigerian workers join thier counterparts world wide, lets call to mind issues on our home ground. President Goodluck Jonathan has made alot of promises to workers this year. He's promised economic development, labour- friendly government, attractive welfare package for workers and so much more incentives.

Why are the young dying so? Dignitaries flew in from all over the place to witness the burial of Beijing 2008 silver medalist, Adefemi Olubayo. His casket, drapped with the Nigerian flag was interred at Ebony Millenium Cemetery inside the Atan Cemetery, Yaba, Lagos.  A great loss I must say, Nigeria will no doubt miss him. It was so sad hearing his elder brother, Abiodun Adefemi delivering his funeral oration. Such a shame. ***sniffs***

MY VERY FIRST POST.....

1. I'm pleased to inform you all that i'm now on board to keep you adequately informed on 'going ons' around the globe  from a hip and 'on point' perspective.                   On this note let us call to mind the famous Martin Luther King jr's quote 'I have a dream , that one day...' Me sef, i used to dream that one day, i'll be able to do what i'm doing now. Dreams, folks have a way of turning into realities when we consciously set practicable ways of achieveing them. Fashola's victory has no doubt restored a little bit of  hope to the common man in matters relating to free and fair elections in Nigeria. He undisputedly won by popular majority. Even when PDP was touting Bashorun here and there, lagosians stood firm,BRF remained numero uno on our minds. Because we could back up our 'efizzy' with Oshodi, BRT, Beautiful Lagos. At the very least we had something to rely on. Our votes bought us something tangible....  Still basking in BRF's victory jare.. He deserves it... abi, what do you think?....
